June has been an incredibly busy and exciting month. All within a month, we celebrated the 11th Anniversary of the church  and my (Kita's) parents visited the island.

1) 11th Anniversary of the International Church:

Click the video below ....
We celebrated the 11th Anniversary of Christian Life International Church here in Las Palmas. We celebrated by "Recognizing  our Diversity and Celebrating our Unity". We love being able to celebrate the diversity and the differences between the the different nations and cultures. We believe that our greatest strength as an international church is that we are all culturally diverse. We then celebrated our unity.
Romans 12:4-5
4 For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function,
5 so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another.
Christ is what brings us together, gives us purpose, and gives us life. We may all have different personalities, different opinions, different languages, different cultures but greater than all of that, we have Christ! That is our greatest  strength and the way we can celebrate as a unified body of believers.

The most exciting thing about recognizing our diversity and celebrating our unity , is that heaven will be even more diverse, with people from every nation coming together to celebrate and worship the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords!

Below are some pictures from the event:
2) My (Kita's) parents and the island:

My parents were able to visit us here on the island for their vacation. They had the opportunity to visit while we celebrated the church's 11th Anniversary. They were able to experience the cultures, food, and the international, bilingual service the Sunday they were here. We also were able to show them the island of Gran Canaria.
Now they are safely back in the United States. It is always great to have family come and visit. It is especially encouraging when they are able to see the ministry and work we do here and to hear them say how proud they are of us.

We want to thank you again for taking time to read our updates and we would also like to thank you for your continuing support. The Lord has continued to provide for us while being here and it is through your partnership that we are able to continue ministry here in Gran Canaria.
