February 13-14, we had the opportunity of having a Lock-In. If you don't know what that is, it is simple an excuse for youth to stay out and stay up ALL NIGHT. That's right, which meant that we were up all night with them. It was fun! We themed the night "Minute to Win-It". The purpose was to teach the youth the value of their time. One minute, in some instances, can feel like forever, but when you're competing against the clock to win a game for your team, one minute just isn't enough time. CLICK the video below to watch what much of our night looked like. The Bible teaches us, Ephesians 5:15-16 Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, Psalm 90:12 So teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom. Not that time itself is important but rather we have such limited time on this earth to spread the Gospel. We had such a sweet time of ministry after at the end of the Lock-In. Many of the youth made the decision to utilize every moment they have to share the love of Christ. This message is not just for these youth but rather for you as well. We challenge you to look at your own life. How do you spend each day? Is it living for the here and now? Do you live for eternity? Do you utilize every moment you have to spread the love of Christ?
We pray that God will give you divine opportunities to share the Gospel and that He will help us all to number our days and make the most of each and every opportunity.
